Q Do I require special client software to use InfoPlace?
A No, you do not require any special client software to use InfoPlace. It works with standard web browsers.

Q What kind of servers does InfoPlace work with?
A InfoPlace works with industry standard web servers, like the Apache web server and Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS).

Q What kinds of documents are organized by InfoPlace?
A InfoPlace Document Organizer accepts all kinds of documents. This includes HTML pages, spreadsheets, word processor files, presentations, text files, image files, and application binary files. Any valid URL or document will work.

Q What is an Infobase?
A A collection of Documents and Categories is called an Infobase. It allows an entire set of Documents to be organized into manageable and meaningful partitions.

Q Does InfoPlace provide access control?
A Yes, you can control who gets access to an Infobase. Each Infobase can have separate access control. You can grant permissions for users to browse, modify and perform administrative tasks.

Q Do I require an administrator to create new Categories?
A No, any user with "modify" privileges can create, modify or delete Categories.
